Not as good as suggested, June 15, 2010 By MUSIC MITCH (Brooklyn, NY) - See all my reviews This review is from: Contour Coil Luxe 8000 (Kitchen) Received this full size mattress and it's supposed to be 8 inches, but that's the pretufted number. The number before they compress it. It measured 5 1/2 inches. It's a deceptive practice not to tell the truth and let people know that the final measurement is closer to 6 inches. This makes a difference if you're sleeping on it all the time as 8-9 inches is the amount needed for that. The mattress is thinner and lighter than I expected. It slightly sags in the middle when laying on it, not providing proper support for the lower back. It's better than a beginner cheaper mattress that will wear out fast. I opened one of the zippers to look inside - the cotton is cheap. It's overpriced and not the quality espoused. I doubt it will hold up well.
I was surprised to see it was shipped by folding it in half. Right there that told me something wrong. An innerspring mattress folded like that?????

The shipping was great; this thing could have been thrown into a lake & water wouldn't have penetrated the packing & sealing. Thank you for quality shipping, packing & handling, it is a big deal..for that I would say 5 stars.. and comfort of the pad/mattress. I think this one might last a few years.
